History will not display on Dashboard, but history is being recorded

  • Noticed that Simple History not showing on Dashboard, but activity is being recorded and accessible in plugin itself. It used to be there, not sure when it disappeared.

    Have you checked the settings at Settings ? Simple History and that the show on dashboard setting is on?

    It’s also possible that the dashboard widget has been hidden on the dashboard using the “Screen options” that are available there.

    Dashboard setting is on, and it’s not listed in Screen Options.

    Difficult to tell what could be the problem then. Any plugins installed that modify roles or the admin interface in any way?

    Only Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE) but tried deactivating to no effect, issue remains

    Can you check the debug page and see if there are any loggers that contain any rows there?
