What version of WordPress are you currently running? You should always keep WordPress up to date. If you do not upgrade, you may be seriously compromising your site’s security.

Update are immensely important from a security point of view.

i’m using 3.1.3 wordpress version
and i can’t update my site Automatically cuz i had changed the wordpress direct file for security things. ^_^
so i will have to do it by the FTP witch it mean I will need to replace all the old files therefor I will lose everything

Your posts and pages are stored in a database, not in the WordPress files.

Ok, I will replace all the wordpress files “except”
wp-content
I will edit the wp-config file ..

Just extract the latest zip and overwrite all of files. wp-content, wp-config and your database will not be touched.

Dear if i replace the wp-content files that’s mean i till lose all my themes and my plugins

Plugins and themes you have added will not be removed when you replace files. FTP clients replace on a file-by-file basis, not by directory.
