I am unable to share my blog links (homepage or posts) on a few platforms like Facebook, Instagram, HeyLink. When I share the link, there is an error that the link is malicious. So, I installed Wordfence plugin to scan my blog for any malware. The scan results does not show any error (malware).

When I checked the source code on my blog, I noticed a script highrevenuegate which is flagged as malicious code. And, this is the exact reason why I am unable to share the link on platforms.

If this script was detected by other platforms why Wordfence scan did not detect this code during the scan?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @cookwithsan, sorry to see you appear to have malware on your site.

When something has created unwanted or malicious files, you may find our detailed site cleaning instructions and free Learning Center can help you find the cause and clear it yourself:
    https://www.wordfence.com/docs/how-to-clean-a-hacked-wordpress-site-using-wordfence/
    https://wordfence.com/learn/

If your site was compromized in order to add the file(s), we’ll always recommend the passwords for your hosting control panel, FTP, other WordPress admin users, and database have all been changed. Also make sure WordPress, themes, and all of your plugins are fully up-to-date.

I would recommend providing any suspicious file(s) you find to samples @ wordfence . com. If the source that caused it is packaged in a way Wordfence isn’t currently picking up, our researchers can look into it and get back to you with a suitable course of action.

Make sure any database credentials or keys/salts are removed before sending anything to us.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
