Highly Recommended

I recently needed to add member login/registration/access functionality for a client site and found the choice of available plugins was considerable.

I tried a couple but they either failed to have sufficient functionality or their documentation was not thorough enough. Then I tried WP-Members.

I needed to sign up for the Premium priority support as I believe that employing a members plugin of this complexity requires a great deal of time and knowledge to do it right.

Wow. This plugin hits the spot.

• It’s mature – the functionality you can employ with this plugin is huge, even extending out to things like MailChimp, PayPal and more.
• It’s adaptable/scalable – it sits well in WordPress; uses built-in WP functionality where appropriate;integrates well with my theme files;allows me to customise a little or a lot
• It’s very well documented – the RocketGeek.com website contains a vast array of articles on how to use/modify/extend the plugin. Many articles have really useful code snippets too.
• It’s very well supported – Chad provides a superb additional support service, by forum and personal support. It is worth every penny.

If you need a comprehensive membership plugin, I’d definitely consider WP-Members.
