• This plugin lets you do anything you want with your widgets. It’s great in many ways, but there are problems.

One thing I’ve found is that it can sometimes be a little buggy — you have to be really careful about performing operations in the correct order! To fix glitches, I’ve usually had to delete the widget and start from scratch with a new one, which can be time-consuming if it’s already been used a lot.

Also, I wish the flow of the entire process was smoother. For example, there’s too much saving and reloading when managing widgets from the post edit screen — due to the necessary order of operations.

And, it would be nice if widget options appeared in a pop-up window on the widgets edit screen instead of loading an entire new page.

Likewise, currently deleting and resetting dynamic widgets is done on a separate screen, but it would be much better if this was done directly from the widgets screen.

So, while I like what this plugin does, and feel that it works pretty well, there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Still, I’m very thankful to have the use of this plugin. Should future updates resolve these issues, I’d happily return to increase my rating ??
