Highlighting the search term on the page

    Hello

    I am interesting in including a feature which allows the user to see, through use of highlighting, where their search term appears on each page in a list of Ajax Search Lite search returns. Could you please advise me on whether or not this is possible.

    Hi,

    For the live drop-down search list this is possible, by enabling the keyword highlighting feature: https://i.imgur.com/coM5qTI.png

    For each results page it will now work, because the search term information is not sent through the page where the user clicks. Even if it was, it would require some custom code to work. I’m sorry.

    Hi Ernst

    I am sorry that I don’t understand what you are saying in the second paragraph. The feature you have highlighted does not appear to capture the whole term from a string of multiple words or to recognize hyphenated words. The end result is that conjunctives such as ‘of’ in a key term are highighted as separate keywords but the whole string of words, which is needed to make sense, does not get highlighted.
