Highlight certain posts

On my blog, I have a static home page. On that homepage, I would like to find a way for my most recent post to be placed onto the static page(sort of like highlights)
Here’s the catch, I only want posts from a certain category to be posted on the static page.
Please help! D:
P.S. As of right now, I only have 1 post, so I added it manually using a image. The category I’m talking about is “reviews”
