    Hey @rahulbhatt38 ,

Thanks for contacting us about Facebook for WooCommerce! I am happy to help out ??

It is currently not possible to assign a default variation to be displayed on the shop page. As we recently updated to version 2, we have been working on the connection piece, but we are working with Facebook at this time to get this ability added to a future version of the plugin.

So while I’m not sure when an exact release including this feature will arrive, it’s definitely on our radar!

    Cheers,
    Steve

Good to hear its on the radar however until then, is there someway to display the price range e.g. $xx to $yy? Displaying the highest price (of the range) will certainly discourage potential customers.

    Hey @mrpanikian,

It’s a good question! I’m afraid we aren’t able to control the display of the Facebook shop by the plugin. The only option we would have is by adjusting the data that’s sent to Facebook instead.

One option, though not ideal, would be to choose which of the variations you’d like to sync to Facebook, and make sure the others are set to Do Not Sync. This would mean that Facebook would only ever show a single variation for your product, though you would be guaranteed what price it would display.

Hopefully our product team prioritizes the permanent fix for this now v2 of the plugin is available though! Would this be one option that might work in the meantime do you think, or will you be waiting for the newer release?

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    Thanks Simon for your comment.

YES I’ll push forward with your suggestion because in this specific case, the range of pricing is fairly broad (considering the product in question) and syncing/displaying the lowest variant/price would avoid frightening potential clients.

Again, thanks for your thoughts. I look forward to this being addressed in a future release.

    Stay safe.
