High Traffic website

Hi

I am using this plugin on a website that receives a large number of concurrent users. They are all accessing the site and logging in in a short time frame.

Do you know if this plugin is capable of handling such a situation? Would it cause too many database connections with so many people loggin in at one time?

At the moment about 2000 users are logging in within a 5 – 10 min slot.
