High Resources Usage – Badly need help

Hi…

My host recently suspended my site for high resources usage. they said that my site is consuming too much of the allotted resources for every account (I’m on shared hosting). my site only avg 400 to 500 visits a day and about 900 to 1000 views a day. They suggested me to remove some of my plugins and install caching system which I did, the confusing part is it doesn’t lowers my usage. I only have 3 plugins left and still the usage is still high. I did all that I think may help lower my usage but all fails. I have a friend that has 3000+ views and using 19 plugins and he’s usage is lower than mine.

Can anyone help me on this problem?
