Woocommerce is using too much server processes and crashes server. List of Top access content

It’s using an immense amount of resources for a function that shouldn’t be doing that realistically speaking.

  • Hi,

In general, there could be several reasons for this issue, as a starting point, you can do the following:

    • Make sure to have only essential plugins activated, as each plugin uses server resources.
    • Using caching to significantly reduce the load on your server and can help prevent crashes.
    • You can use a CDN, it can take some of the load off your server, especially for websites with heavy traffic.
    • Make sure your server is running on a supported and updated PHP version. To learn more, please check our requirements to run WooCommerce properly.

If any of the above reasons do not make a difference, it would be great if you share your System Status Report, found under WooCommerce > Status, on your site. That might provide us additional details to investigate.

    Cheers!
