High MYSQL/CPU Usages

  • Dear Frieds,

    i Have my own dedicated box with 30 sites hosted on the server its a

    Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU 3050 @ 2.13GHz
    CentOS release 4.6 (Final)
    2GB RAM
    250 x 2 Hard disks

    i think its a pretty nice configuration to run sites with the WP.

    the problem im facing is my CPU Usage is too high. one of my site https://www.shers.in which have around 31K posts is using too much MYSQL Usage

    9954 mysql 0 24.5 7.6 /usr/sbin/mysqld –basedir=/ –datadir=/var/lib/mysql –user=mysql –pid-file=/var/lib/mysql/sukhada.allwebserver.com.pid –skip-external-locking

    It is using 24.5 CPU and i dont what is the SKIP EXTERNAL LOCKING.

    i talked to my server guys and they said there is no issue with the server or DB when they temporary delete the WP-POST table the load back to the normal around 1 or 2% but after that when they restore the table WP-POST again the load increasing.

    so they said i have to post the problem on WP forum. so Guys pls help me out.

    if anyone need the cpanel access i can provide him.
