    Hello!

We are running very high loaded site with peaks of 3000 concurrent connections. It is dedicated to EURO2020. The site is run with separate 192Gb server and enterprise level RDS by AWS for managing database.

Still we experience database slow response so the site stops being working even with 1000 users.

After digging a lot and spending endless efforts and sleepless nights on key pages optimization we figured out that key problem is update of wp_options table
were the autoload data is 2.3 MB. It is updated by some part of the WordPress or plugin or theme and the SQL queries chock the server. https://c2n.me/4cmZaAf

The connection number grows significantly up to 500 per second.

We use the following key plugins and themes
    – Alchemists theme by Dan Fisher
    – Profile builder by Cozmolabs
    – Yoast SEO
    – own customized prediction
    – own JoomSport sports plugin
    – etc.

Anyone can help us with troubleshooting?

We are looking for the right level expert who can support us. Urgent one since the EURO 2020 is going.

Please advise or contact us via [reacted]. Thank you!
