High Database Usage

    Since the latest update, I’ve been seeing very long database calls (131 seconds or higher) on multiple sites.

    The query seems to be SELECT option_value FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ? LIMIT ?

    that is strange.

    Do you have such a behaviour only during plugin upgrade/activation?
    Or that is something that happens all the time at every page load?

    Do you use any caching plugins?

    Could you please submit a support request from the plugins page ( /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=speechkit )?
    This will provide us some technical details, that could help identify this issue faster.

    Hi @speechkit, thanks for the response.
    I don’t really have much information except that it was occuring and that’s what new relic was showing. This is on customer’s websites.

    As for caching, it was hosted on Kinsta, so that’d be the Kinsta MU Plugin and serverside caching.
