High CPU Usage (Tons of Tribe Process Async Test AJax Requests)

    Hi there!

    We are using EC 5.0.2.1. Upon activating your plugin, our CPU Usage skyrocketed due to the following ajax-type calls generated by your plugin:

    /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=tribe_process_async_process_support_test&nonce=09ed33d5c1

    /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=tribe_process_async_process_support_test&nonce=c52ce9a4c2

    We confirmed the above with our host- SiteGround.

    Fortunately, this does not appear to be a new topic for Modern Tribe. It appears Modern Tribe addressed an identical issue with a sister plugin, Event Tickets, and fixed it. Click below.

    Your excessive number of Ajax calls are causing our website and WP admin dashboard to be be very slow!

    Please fix this issue and – if possible – provide a temporary solution until a plugin update is released.

  • I may be having the same issue. Everything is painfully slow, but now even worse I cannot even access the Events in WordPress admin. Clicking ‘Events > Events’ just hangs until I finally get a ‘508 resource limit is reached’error message. This is a bit of a disater as today is actually the launch date for the website events. We now can;t get into admin to make any important updates to event information.

    I can access other Events Calendar section, just not main the Events list section. We are using version 4.9.10 however.

    Same issue here–very frustrating. Please update asap.
