High CPU usage – site unresponsive

  • I installed ‘XML Sitemap Generator for Google’ – what a bummer, after an hour cpu usage of my site was over 50% and site was unresponsive, so that had to go again.

    However, plugin did create sitemap.xls with all the links etc.

    @janca did you not face a similar issue with other sitemap generators (including WordPress itself)?
