According to hostgator the cpu usage of events manager is to high, now for regular non logged in users we currently use w3 and cloudflare which does a good job, however when adding new events which are rather a few cpu still goes up 2% and higher. (we dont cache logged in users, so nothing gets cached while adding events)

Our site has average of 2k unique users a day… so i hope you guys, can check up on that…

hi, can I know how many events do you have?

with that level of traffic, and depending on the usage of EM you may need to consider upgrading your hosting. shared hosting can only do so much

we test with 1000s of events on hostgator shared accounts and it handles this well, but if you have much more traffic this impacts the load on your server.

btw, if you’re not using CDNs for images, scripts etc. for logged in users, that may be worth a try as well.
