High CPU Load issue? Found a solution!

    I have been struggling to find a solution for over 2 years and finally I came across to a very single one.

    Our server used to crash every day because of the NextGen plugin’s high cpu usage, while we had high traffic.

    By chance I enabled “Photon” featured provided by JetPack, for free! and since then the website is in stable mode. I hope this is helpful to you!

    The plugin uses a cloud caching system for your image files and reduce the server load.

    @alienative – Thanks for sharing this!! It’s much appreciated!

    We have not found Photon to have a significant effect such as you are describing but we also do not test extensively with the Jetpack modules and the many configurations that can be used. This is very good to know it worked for you!

    Hello Cais,
    For some reason, activating Photon was the only solution for me to stop the daily crashes. Maybe I am just lucky then ??
