High CPU Load in new WordPress instllation

    I Have a VPS with 6 cores and 2 GB RAM.

    My WordPress started taking lot of CPU Load and it made me wondering. Initially i thought it was my VPS Control Panel problem so i re-installed and using fresh CentOS machine.

    Restored my wordpress blogs and still the results are the same. Whenever i open my wordpress blog, the %cpu load goes up-to 12-14

    To troubleshoot, i installed fresh new version of WP 3.9 and than tried to check load and on every refresh the load went upto 6.6

    Can you help me on this ?

    Even on default installations, the load is reaching 6.6 with just 1 refresh of page which is very scary.
