High CPU after updating to latest version

@fadifaten I’m experiencing the same issue. It crashed the server, am now rolling back to a stable version. I’ll update to a newer version once this thread is replied to by the plugin author to confirm it is now stable.

Me too. Version 1.2.1 creates Fatal error:

Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /home/... /public_html/wp-content/plugins/seo-automated-link-building/src/html5changer/Html5Changer.php on line 76

There has been a critical error on your website.

Here too with the same problem, I opted to remove the plugin. Since the load was excessive and I had my network in trouble for hours without being able to detect the cause.

Should be fixed with the new update for now, we removed a suspected apply_filter call that was called on each keyword.

Yes, i was facing the same issue, had to deactivate the plugin. Now i see new update, i just updated and activate and everything is now working fine. Thanks for quick update version @webraketen .

I tried that on our server but I can’t see any impact. It makes no difference whether the plugin is activated or deactivated. This makes it difficult for us to reproduce the problem and to find the cause. Do you have any ideas what could be the cause?

My site has a files server and a DB server. DB server, everything is OK. Files server, when the plugin is active the CPU usage goes from 10% (normal without plugin) to 60% (normal with plugin) and reaching 100% (server down) depending on how many user are online.

Unfortunately I can’t provide access to the servers. But here is an image to show it: plugin active from July 9 around 9 a.m. to midday July 12. Shows multiple spikes in access followed by declines (server reboot).
