• Hello:

I was wondering if there was a way to create additional websites but with a hierarchical structure. For instance, the first site is “/” I want to create another site for “/Accounting/” which works fine. But then I want to create “/Accounting/Payables/” and “/Accounting/Receivables/”. As far as I can tell I am not able to do this since the site creator does not allow anything but letter and numbers. Is there another way that wordpress handles this?

    Thanks.

Seeing a lot of these… I suppose Multi Network, but do you really need full blown SITES for these?

I ask because you could use Custom Post Types instead and just have a special kind of post for Payables and Recieveables.

And you woudl really really only need separate sites for Parables and Receivables if you did not want those two accounting depts to access the backend info.

Andrea_r: that is exactly why I asked about that. I need to separate the administration of each site since different people will be administering those different websites. But at the end there would still be one person in account that could administer Receivables and Payables.

So does this mean that wordpress does not support this functionality?
    thanks,

The Multi Network Plugin is the only thing I can think of.

Thank-you!, I will look into this.

But it won’t give sub-sub-*folders*. The best you can get is

    accounting.domain.com/department/
