• I am creating a site where I would like to hide links to MP3s based upon a logged in users permissions.

I have installed s2member to manage membership. It’s instructions state that if I assigned a tag to an element in a webpage (a link, a menu, a paragraph of text, etc.) I could then assign a custom capability to that tag to hide and/or prevent access to it by a user without the proper permissions to view it.

When I look up WordPress tags, I see that they are meant to be attached to blog entries, and visible. This does not seem to fit my purpose so I assume that I am misunderstanding something.

Can anyone shed light on what it is in WordPress that I would be able to assign to various elements in the site for the purposes of using in conjunction with S2member?
