• I am trying to make some widgets visible if the user is logged in.
There is no choice for users in the if field.
is there some way I can do this.

  • Have you tried using the plugin Display Widgets? It lets you hide or show widgets according to various criteria, including whether or not the user is logged in or out.

I just tried it but it crashes pages in the backed of WP 3.8

Hm, I have Display Widgets running on several 3.8 sites and it seems fine. So possibly it’s conflicting with something else you have running. You could troubleshoot by turning off your other plugins and seeing if it works that way. Then turning the others on one by one to see which generates the problem.
