• Hi,

I just purchased the pro version of the plugin today and love it. We’ll definitely use it in our agency quite a lot.

I have a question about using this plugin when passing a multisite project onto a client for them to use.

I would like to create an administration account which the client will access, that still has the ability to jump between multisite’s at the top level (Sites -> List of sites they are added on). However, after testing today it seems like the only way to have the Sites menu appear in the top bar is to make the user a super administrator (if this is incorrect please someone let me know, but as far as I can tell this is the only way to get the menu to appear).

I have now done this, and then using your plugin I logged in as that super admin and disabled some menus. However, as we are going to be passing the project onto a client, it would be great if there was a way to disable a certain user from accessing the menu editor, as otherwise they can just undo all of your hidden settings for them.

I realise this is probably quite a niche use case / request for a feature, but I’m curious as to how other people do this too.

    Thanks for a great plugin.

    Try this:

    1. Log into your own account.
    2. Go to the menu editor page and click the “Settings” button next to the page title.
    3. Change “Who can access this plugin” to “Only the current user”.

This should hide the plugin from everyone else, even other super admins.

    Thanks, that worked well.

Just out of interest, do you know if the Sites menu being hidden to non-super admins is standard WordPress behaviour? (I couldn’t find any info on it via google)

Do you mean the “My Sites” menu in the Toolbar (also known as the Admin Bar)? I think that’s supposed to visible to everyone, not just super admins. I have a Multisite install that I use for testing and “My Sites” shows up for regular administrators.
