Hiding Files with Shortcode plugin

I can’t get in touch with you through your contact form because it won’t submit so I’m going to try asking here.

I’m trying to configure this plugin and I cannot figure out how to do something. I want to hide some files from the shortcode, but I can’t figure out how. My users store some Word files on my server and when they open them a lock file with a “~” at the beginning shows up in the folder. I’d like to be able to hide these lock files from the shortcode as they all show at the top of the list by default. We have many users and I don’t want to leave it to them to hide these files themselves. How can I hide all files that start with a “~” from the shortcode? Thanks!
