• I have tried every combination to hide columns but with no success. I have tried…

    [userlist list=3 filter=hide columnname=wp_s2member_custom_fields-about_me]
    [userlist list=3 filter=hide columnname=about_me]
    [userlist list=3 filter=hide columnname=about me]
    [userlist list=3 filter=hide columnname=About Me]

What am I missing? As you can see I am using s2member but also Buddypress.

    Thanks!

note – I have also tried adding the column to the display order and then removing the order number – no luck.

    [userlist list=3 filter=hide wp_s2member_custom_fields-about_me=value_you_want_to_filter_for]

    replace
    value_you_want_to_filter_for
with the value that you are filtering for

Doesn’t make sense with a descriptive column. Usually you are filtering where there are a defined set of values

    eg: country=elbonia

Thanks for the quick response. I am trying to hide columns so that I can include the data in the columns in search results.

What is the best way to hide columns but still have their fields be included in search?

I have also tried adding the column to the display order and then removing the order number. No luck. The data is not searched.

Nope, sorry plugin doesn’t work like that. Search searches the cache so data has to be there. You could try hiding with css ?

    or using another plugin.

Personally I find it strange in seraching if I cannot see what I searched for in the results if you know what I mean
