Hiding checkout link if cart empty

  • Hi I am looking for a way to create a link in the navbar that only appears if something is added to the cart

    How would I add these shortcodes into a menu link?

    I have added [edd_cart_has_contents]Checkout[/edd_cart_has_contents] in the description box and it does not hide the label when the cart is empty
