I guess you have had lots of requests about hiding wp-login.php, and I also know that you don’t like security through obscurity. However, the world is full of silly brute force attacks that a simple wp-login rename would avoid.

As many others, I’m tired of getting mails of login attempts with common user names like admin or administrator.
I think your plugin is really powerful, and adding this feature will make it better.

I know that you recommend the plugin Rename wp-login.php, but is unmaintained.

I would like to know if this feature could be included in a future release or if it is something that will never be included in Wordfence.

    Thanks!

Yes, we get this request from time to time. I’ve added your request to our system, and it will be considered. I can’t guarantee it will make it into a future release or estimate how long it would be, but it will be considered. Thanks for helping to make Wordfence great!

We have also had a feature request on the forum recently that would suppress emails from login attempts from the names that are set to be “immediately blocked” in your Wordfence options, which would cut down the emails in those instances, too.

    Thanks for considering this!

That feature request will improve notifications. However, hiding wp-login will completely avoid those annoying attempts from bots.
