    Hi,
I am working on my woocommerce-shop and I would like to hide the VAT rate (19%) on the main shop page and on the single product page.
I have tried with the “Price Display Suffix” in Woocommerce-Settings-Tax but nothings works.

    Any help is appreciated!

  • Hello,

Were you able to find a way to hide the VAT rate? I just checked your site, and didn’t see the rate on shop page or product page.

    Hi maykato,
I have just checked and from my browser, I use safari, I still see the VAT

I cleaned the Cache but still I don’t see any difference.

By the way, the goal for me is to don’t show up the % rate. The suffix “included VAT” should be there.

    Hi @tomenr,

Checking on my side, I also don’t see the VAT rates on the shop and product pages, all appear just like in @maykato’s screenshots.

I have just checked and from my browser, I use safari, I still see the VAT

    * Kindly share with us a screenshot of how this appears on your end.
    * Additionally, share with us a screenshot of your Tax settings at WooCommerce → Settings → Tax.

I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

    Thanks.

    Hi there ??

It seems that your theme or the WooCommerce German Market plugin is overriding the Price Display Suffix established by the WooCommerce core setting.

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Check if you can adjust the Price Display Suffix on your WooCommerce Settings and if you see the changes reflected on your site

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Before you start

First, please make sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. Most hosting companies have this included in the subscription, but you could also consider using a service like?Jetpack. If something goes wrong, it’s nice to know that you can restore your site.

Second, I would suggest installing a plugin called?Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it allows you to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

    Cheers!
