Hide url from excerpt blog page

  • Hi there,

    I am currently using the OceanWp free theme and it is great. But I have a question regarding the blog excerpt in grid style. The excerpt unfortunately shows the Vimeo url link. Is there a way to hide url’s from the excerpt? Is there a plugin who can hide shortcodes or embedded links? Or do I have to use code? I am not a programmer : (

    Thanks for your reply! I tried the advanced excerpt plugin but unfortunately with no desired effect. It looks like the plugin doesn’t do anything at all. I tried working with different settings within the plugin but it looks like the plugin is ignored by the default theme settings. I can only customise the theme blog excerpt through the theme options itself but still outputs the Vimeo link in the excerpt of the blog view.
