I would like a feature that hides attribute values when ALL products/posts that use this value are either disabled, out of stock, or are otherwise not available.

Also, if an attribute value is valid for SOME products/posts, make it so that only those are shown in query results.

For example, I have attribute value A used for a disabled product variation and B for a different enabled variation. A shows up in the filter list and the product shows up in the query result.

    Hi?@catthetech

    1) This feature is available in the PRO version of the plugin.

2/3) This is not possible, our filter is not modifying any queries to remove something without filtering. The logic is that you place the filter on the page and then filter your products.

But you can create a filter by a stock status, and choose it. Then copy this link with the chosen in-stock option to use it for your link to the sho page. So if the shop page link was mysite.com/shop it should be now mysite.com/shop/stock-in-stock/

I am a programmer on this website: merryclaude.com

    1) This is not true, there is a filter option called “Empty terms”, I set it to “Always hide”. It appears to not hide terms when all products using it are merely disabled.
If it’s true that this is a PRO feature, what does this option do?

    4) Where do you set this filter by stock status? Is this a PRO feature?

    Hi?@catthetech

    1. We are not sure what exactly you mean by “this is not true.” In the PRO version if you go to the Filters > Settings > Experimental > there will be an option “Out of stock visibility” – “Hide/show out of stock items from filtering results.”

The empty terms > always hide, are connected to the terms that have counters (0), they will be hidden from the filters. They are not connected to the stock status as you mentioned.
    2. Please check this screenshot – https://prnt.sc/lbh07nK-bB63 it is a filter from a custom field.

    1. Sorry,I did not know there was such an option in the PRO version (I have the free version)
    2. Can you explain a bit more how those “meta keys” work and how I can use it in a shortcode?
      Is it simply: [fe_sort _stock_status="true"]?

    2. I found how to filter by stock (_stock_status meta key):
2.1. Add a new field inside your filter.
    2.2. Click on More options.
2.3. Set Filter by to Custom Field.
2.4. Set the Filter title and Var name for URL to whatever you want.

The issue: This only hides out of stock WooCommerce products if ALL variations are out of stock. This does not hide terms that have 0 variations in stock.

Conslusion: Buy the PRO version, or you can’t have this feature.
