• Hi,

    I’m new and I don’t know anything about coding…yet.. but I am looking to hide the title for my page that comes after the name “Category”. I hid the word “Category” with the Custom CSS plugin and the following:

    /* Hide the word “Category: ” on category archive for Twenty Fifteen v 1.2 */

    .archive.category .page-title {
    overflow: hidden;
    text-indent: -5.05em;
    }

    and I hid the titles for all the other pages with Hide Title plugin Version 1.0.4 | By Brandon Kraft & Randall Runnels

    but this does not work for my blog page, which I have set as a category. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

  • Since I cannot see the website since you didn’t include it, I can only guess.

    There are two typical ways to remove things like this. The first would be to actually modify the template page and just remove the code you don’t want to display.

    The second method would be to leave the code alone and just set display: none; in your CSS for the element you want to hide.

    I usually prefer the first method myself, but I am a programmer and I am not sure of your skill level.

    Good luck.
