I don’t seem to be able to hide the popup box that slides up that contains the “Share” (facebook) and “Tweet” button.

In both cases I only enabled “Visit my Facebook Page” and “Visit My Twitter”.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks!

    Thank you for your question!

We need to show the tooltip because the “Share”-button is coming directly from Facebook, but you want to use the round icon (and not the rectangle one). However, having said this, what you want is possible in this plugin https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/ – there no tooltip is required. We implemented it there in a different way.

    Hey Nick,

    Thanks!

Yup, using the round buttons does not show the popup stuff.

Or is it because I entered “#” as a placeholder link?

I thought the issue is that on mouseover over the round icons, the popup (tooltip) is shown, and you don’t want that?

On the round icons (default) it’s not. But on the “flat squared” it was.

But, I just tested it and it’s because I entered “#” as the link and not a real facebook link. I guess.

You are saying that in premium I can disable that?

Hi @alframe! Yes, the pop-up you mention can be disabled in the premium plugin for all functionalities e.g. share/like/visit etc. however for the visit function (only) it can be disabled in the free plugin too.

Thanks. We have to see where this project goes. We decided to go the path of least effort and we use sharing provided by the platforms, for now.
