Hide the default WP signup page

    Hi,

    I have activated login area masking. But clicking on the Register link in the WP-login page takes user to the /wp-signup.php page. How do I redirect users to the front end (custom) registration page instead of the default wp signup page?

    I have customized login screen using the Branda plugin.

    I hope you’re well today!

    Defender is masking login (as in direct access to /wp-admin – for logged-out users and /wp-login.php).

    The /wp-signup.php is a different page and it’s a multisite-specific page. It’s not only used for registration of user accounts but also (by default, though you can switch that off in Network Settings) for site registration. I’m afraid Defender doesn’t currently support redirecting/masking this page.
