On a fresh install of WordPress, editors aren’t able to access the CFS menu. It requires the manage_options capability, which editors don’t have.

Please look at your current permissions plugins / settings and make sure that editors do not have the manage_options capability.

ok, ‘fresh install’ and ‘manage_options’ were the keywords! I explicitely assigned this cap to editors ’cause I actually need them to, well ‘manage options’ … ;o). After Yr reply I was able to successfully hide the CFS-menu via CSS. I’m happy and so is my customer.

Thanks for the prompt help. Awesome plugin !!

    Cheers,
    Dirk
