Hide Text isn’t working

Hi,

I want to substitute some top level menu entries with just icons (even using the pro verison to make sure I can include my own pictures) and omit the text of those menu-entries. My expection would be that “hide text” would exactly do this. But it doesn’t.

What I’m doing right now as a workaround is to name the menu entries with blanks, but having more than one requires variations like ” “, ” ” and ” ” to make sure that identical blanks won’t drop the menu item at all.

kindly advise how to solve this.
