    Hello,

Is there a way, we can have the privacy & cookies tab auto hide once the user has accepted the cookies button?

Any advice would be really appreciated.

    Kind Regards,
    Lily

    Hi @nettladmi,

If you are refering to the small tab that appears after accept then go to GDPR Cookie Consent menu > Cookie Law Settings > Customise cookie bar tab > Show again tab and you can disable it.

    Hi,
I have the same question. I don’t want the the small tab to continually pop up even after hitting ‘agree’. I did as suggested in your reply above, but now the cookie consent is not showing up at all. Any advice?

    Kind regards,
    Julie

    HI @julie2009,

That is because you have already accepted. Please visit the site in a private window or incognito window.

    Hi,

Sorry, I should have been clearer. After disabling that tab as you explained in your original answer to Lily, The cookies policyaccept button is not even appearing on my homepage. In other words, now if someone lands on my front page, or any page for that matter, the cookies policy is not showing up for them to accept at all.

    Thanks for any help.

    Kind regards,
    Julie

    Hi again,

Sorry, I should also add that originally it was appearing as a banner across the bottom of the page. However, if I enable that ‘Show again tab‘, it does not appear as a banner but just as a tab, even though I have chosen ‘banner’.

    Thank you for your help.

    Kind regards,
    Julie

    Hello again,

So sorry to keep bothering you, but now it seems to be working as it did originally. Maybe you have been working on it in the background. No matter, thank you very much.

    Kind regards,
    Julie
