Hide submenus in main menu

    Hi!
    And thank you for this useful plugin! I have a n00b question: I’m running the theme Twentysixteen, and I want to only show the parent menu options in the top main menu, i e hide the submenus and only show those in the widgets. How do I hide the submenu items in the top main menu?
