Hide quarantine and tmb directories

I am using the PRO version. It appears that File Manager creates two directories in each directory it lists: “.quarantine” and “.tmb”. I am using the plugin to provide user access to folders and I do not want them to see these two folders or attempt to use them. Using “hide_files” does not work to hide these two items. How do I hide these?
