Hide products out of stock in one category from search

You can hide out-of-stock products from your catalog by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory and enabling the Hide out of stock items from the catalog option.

However, if that doesn’t help hide out-of-stock products from search results, you can still achieve it with some custom coding. You can take a look at these articles for pointers:

Hi Juan, Thank you very much for your quick and good answer.

Unfortunately, I can not figure out how to hide products that are not in stock from search, only from certain categories.

We sell repaired goods (named “B-varer”), and I only want this product category to hide products that are not in stock from search. Now they unfortunately come up in search function, and if the customer presses the item comes 404-page, then the product in this category is deactivated if the stock balance = 0.

Can you help me customize a code I can use for this?
