Hide products on Shop page when they belong to categories

Hi!

I have a small webshop which contains both products grouped under a certain category and products which “stand alone”.

In the Shop page settings i have three options

1. only show products
2. only show categories
3. show both

On the Shop page, I would like to show “stand alone” products as well as categories (option 3), BUT I do not want to show the products which are grouped under categories. At the moment, my Shop page also shows products which can also be viewed by clicking on a category.

I’ve looked for a solution for this, but this issue doesn’t seem to be mentioned by anyone else…

Any help is much appreciated ??
