Hi, I love the plugin and it does what I wanted/needed. I do need help however. Not all my products need a pickup time or a processing time. E.G. some are physical products but others are for courses and gift cards so don’t need a processing time or pickup time. Is it possible to specify which products it applies to and which it does not apply to? Thanks

The date and time applies to the entire order and not individual order items. In your case you’d simply use the date and time for the physical orders and ignore it for the digital orders.

You can add a customer note to the checkout page informing customers that the date and time is only applicable to their physical orders.

Thank you for your reply and swift response. I didn’t want customers to be confused when they book a course and it gives a 2 day processing time and a pick up date option when there wouldn’t be either of these things.

I’m not sure how to add a customer note to the checkout page as per your suggestion. I’m running storefront theme so its all basic stuff. If you have advice for me, I’d be grateful as your suggestion seems a good work around.

You can add a customer note from within the Delivery/Pickup scheduling settings.

    See this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/ByLR9FCl4bvb

Once you add your desired text there, it will show up on the checkout page beneath the scheduling fields, see here: https://prnt.sc/Vv4v_ON9U50v

One thing to note is that the scheduling fields will still show even though all the items in the customer’s cart are digital (if they’re only purchasing a course).

I have logged an issue to make it possible to turn off the scheduling fields if all the items in the cart are digital. Note that it would still show if some items are digital and some are physical and the approach I mentioned above would have to be used.

This should be possible in a later version of the plugin.

Thank you so much for all your assistance and the possible change to the plugin to help accommodate my query. It’s much appreciated.
