Hide preview text on home featured pages area

    Hi,

    I’m going for a very clean look and feel for my website- which means removing the preview text from the home featured pages area and instead writing in my own description of the page.

    Everytime I try to enter my own text into featured text areas 1,2,& 3, it never actually changes the text in the site. Please help!

    sanso77 is right, this has been fixed in v2.1.2. Just update your version.

    Hi sanzo77 or Nikeo, could you please tell me how you changes the read me buttons to show “Lire La Suite” like on the site https://www.femalogistica.com please, if you could email me it would be much appreciated [email protected]. I’d also like t change the “home” to Accueil if it is possible.

    UPDATE…I’ve found the solution to change the wording…The next problem is as you can see on this page https://www.baume-les-dames.com is when using the word d’un it shows d’un any help would be appreciated

    Hi Simon,

    I had the same problem in the slider and got around it by using the ′ character instead of the ‘ character. It now works fine.

    Thanks ElectricFeet, I’m not sure which symbol you use, I’m on a French keyboard and can’t find it lol, I’ve found a work around for now using `

    Maybe the problem lies in having the wordpress install in English not French, i’m not sure. I’m hoping Nikeo might take a look and find a work around to the problem as he’s in France lol.

    Yes, I couldn’t find that symbol easily either. My trick is simply to cut and paste it. You only need to find it once ??

    How were you able to remove the Feature Text? I am using 3.0.14 and it says “You need to select a page first. Leave this field empty if you want to use the page excerpt.” If I leave the text box blank, it pulls in an excerpt from the page. I see sanzo77 was able to do it on their site.

    Disregard – I found the solution by putting a space in the text field ??
