Hide posts from a category in single post page (previous and next links)

I wanto to exclude certain posts to appear on my blog. I installed the ACE plugin and now I can hide the posts from certain categories but the link to those posts still appear while on a post page on the previous and next links.

I would like to know how I can prevent a post from a certain category to be linked from a page post. Hope you can help me out.
