I can set access to a post by role. That’s great.
Can I hide a post completely by role? Each logged in user would only see posts for their role.

    Hi,

Yes, you can use the Pie Register Visibility Restrictions feature on a single post. You can set visibility to ‘Show to Logged-in Users’ and ‘Show to Specific Role’. You can choose as many roles as you want.

Go to Posts > Edit Post > Scroll down to Pie Register Post Restriction section. See screenshot:?https://imgur.com/BPiWiRQ

Hi, thank you for your prompt reply. That’s not common???
I’ll post later how it turned out.

    Hi,
What you’re describing is the behavior I expected.

I have 3 posts on the test page https://fotox.peitl.cz/.
Each is named according to how it has visibility set.

My expectation is that a non-logged in will see 1 post https://imgur.com/fan8pYs,
logged in 1 post (different) https://imgur.com/EGhvFlQ
and admin will see 2 posts https://imgur.com/jh55iui

Realistically, the unlogged in “sees” all the posts, just can’t read them.

    Hi,

For the first two posts, your configuration settings are correct.

For the first post, you have selected ‘Show to users who have not logged in’, which is correct.

For the second post, you have selected ‘Show to logged in users’, which is also correct.

However, for the third post, you should select both ‘Show to Administrators’ and ‘Show to logged in users’. Since you want your third post to be visible to both administrators and logged in users, you need to select both options. See screenshot: https://imgur.com/kV6gapP

    Hi,

Ok, I fixed the settings. But that doesn’t solve my question. I’m interested in how I can achieve what is in the first screenshots. So that you can’t even see the post thumbnails, post titles, image. Unlogged in still sees 3 preview posts. He should only see 1.

    Hi,

Currently, there is no option to hide or restrict post preview; restrictions are only applied to the post page.

However, we can do custom work for you. It will approximately take 7 working days.

Please let us know if you want us to do custom work.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Thank you for the offer, can other plugins do this, or can I set it up with user roles.

It would be nice if this feature appeared directly in the Pie Register settings. Sometimes it’s good to just restrict a post, sometimes hide it completely, like Private posts.

Thanks for the support, have a good day.
