    Hello,

GD has a built in way to do this with filtering for categories and tags in the Directory map type, but this is not available for archive maps – the only way to hide something is to set the listing to draft or another non-published status.

Hi @bowbow7, I think Alex misunderstood your request. Are you asking to remove something that Google Maps is adding to the maps (not your listings)?

If you could make an example we would probably better understand.

    Let me know.

    Hello Paolo,
I attached an image where I circled the POI that i want to remove which i did not put on the map,

I want only my pointers to show on map without any point of interests such as bank or hospital or school or anything.

    Let me know about it.

    Hi @bowbow7,

Thanks for the further info. Our custom map styles has the option to hide all or specific POI types via the UI: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/custom-google-maps/

If you wish to do it by code we have a JS variable where you can override the whole map Styles array by defining your own “geodir_custom_map_style” before the map.js file is enqueued.

I hope this is what you were looking for ??

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
