I’ve got a site under development and I have users with editor level access. The docs seem to suggest that editors shouldn’t be able to see query monitor but they have full access to the admin bar and pop up panel fro QueryMonitor.

I want to keep this hidden from anyone other than admins – how can I do this?

Query Monitor is only available to admins by default. If your Editor level users are seeing it then this means the capabilities of those users has been changed somehow. I recommend checking any user role customisations that are on the site, including plugins that change user roles or capabilities.

It’s also possible, although very unusual, that your editors are seeing cached responses. If so then something is majorly wrong with the cache configuration on your site.

    Best of luck!
