    Do you mean events that have a pending status, or future events?

    Pending events shouldn’t be showing on the public site by default. Are you using custom code to list the events’

    Events that have pending status. I don’t have any custom code – it’s up here (and also as a footer widget).

    hmm, this works for me; Have you tried to temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    No luck. Deactivated all (but EM), emptied cache, the test event was still there. Activated Twenty thirteen theme, and it was still there. I’m running out of ideas!

    Which is the event that’s Pending?

    If you create another event with a Pending status does it also display?
