hide part of table

  • Hi Tobias, is it possible to hide (a part of) a table? And only have the outcome of the filtering (with DataTables ColumnFilterWidgets) visible?
    Or maybe you have an other idea for me.
    I have a test table on a test site.

    I see what you mean, but unfortunately, I’m not aware of an existing solution that can integrate the ColumnFilterWidgets. Sorry ??

    Hi @tobiasbg thanks for replying. It’s no trouble but it would be nice if it was doable. Would it be a possibility to alter the ColumnFilterWidgets php code to add a CSS class that with CSS code hides the table until the search is complete?

    Hi,

    The ColumnFilterWidgets doesn’t actually use any PHP code, but only JavaScript. So I guess it could be possible to make this possible in principle, but unfortunately, as I’m not the developer of the ColumnFilterWidgets JavaScript code (I only packaged it for use with TablePress), I have no idea how and where such a modification would have to be done.
