I have a shop, and the main shop page is the main page of the website (for now). I’d like to be able to either 1) hide out of stock items on the main page, but show them on the “Archives” category page, or 2) move the out of stock items to the end of the main shop page, so you only see out of stock after all the in stock options.

I know there is a “hide out of stock” button in the settings, but that hides items from the “Archives” page as well.

If anyone can help out with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Just wanted to update in case anyone else needed this. I found the plugin “WooCommerce Extra Product Sorting Options” and it works PERFECTLY to do exactly what I needed.

@kaiju123 You need to edit your website woocommerce themes file for these requirements, there will be a hook to not show “out of stock” products, so that you can hide out of stock items.

Thanks for the update, @kaiju123 !

If you do need more flexibility than the plugin offers, then I’d recommend @wphobby’s approach.

I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
